ABOUT US

“Il Borgo e il Colle” is a cultural no-profit association of volounteer guides that since 2003

spreads the knowledge about the historical-artistic and natural heritage of the town of San Colombano al Lambro and its hill.

The association is responsible for visits to the monuments (the castle in particular), the Paleontological and Archaeological Museum “Virginio Caccia”, and the wineries, where you can see the harvest and the winemaking.

It leads you along the paths of the hillside park discovering the botanical species and the biodiversity of the place.

It organizes cultural meetings on historical, artistic and naturalistic topics, all strictly about the local territory.

It cooperates with schools of every grade level, it makes historical and naturalistic surveys, it collects material, it publishes brochures.

It cooperates with the other associations that have the same purposes.
